Know ye that by virtue of entry No 1128 made in the office
of the entry taker of Warren County and dated the 2nd of
January 1826. There is granted by the state of Tennessee unto
Paul Rigsby a certain tract or parcel of land containing
fifty acres by survey bearing date the 27th of May 1827 lying
in said county on the headwaters of the east fork of Stones River. Beginning
on a hornbeam [?] Running thence east eighty poles to a
dogwood and hickory, thence north one hundred poles
to a hickory, thence west eighty poles to a stake, thence
south one hundred poles to the beginning.
with the hereditaments and appurtenances, to have and to hold
said tract or parcel of land, with its appurtenances, to the said
Paul Rigsby and his heirs forever.
In witness thereof, Samuel Houston, Governor of the State of Tennessee,
has hereunto set his hand and caused the great seal of the state to be affixed at Nashville,
on the 10th day of March 1828.
