There was a James Berry c1700 Hanover VA d 1739-01-06 + 1723-03-28 Grace Powell 1698 Stafford Co VA d/o Richard Powell + Grace (unknown). They lived in Overwharton Parish, Old Stafford Co VA. children:
1. Sarah Berry 1726-01-15 + 1744-09-30 John Ellis
2. Margaret Berry c1728 [she may not belong here]
3. William Berry b: FEB 23 1731/2 in King George Co, VA
4. Grace Berry b: FEB 04 1733/4 in King George Co, VA
5. Elizabeth Berry b: JUN 06 1735 in King George Co, VA
6. Marmaduke Berry b: JAN 03 1737/8 in King George Co, VA
7. Virginia Palmer Berry b: JAN 03 1737/8 in King George Co, VA
Bridget could certainly fit in there somewhere between 1723 and 1731, which would agree with her marrying in 1749.

Another tree that no longer exists had the above James as John s/o Henry, but it had daughter Margaret born 1685.

An ancestry.com message-board entry says that Sarah above who married John Ellis was d/o Joel Berry, Joel was a son of Henry Berry, Henry was the eldest son of Henry Berry, and the elder Henry was probably a son of the Henry Berry whose will was dated 1677 and who came from England c1654. Joel had brothers William, John, and Richard.

Overwharton Parish records
In Overwharton Parish there was also a Richard Berry + Sarah Porch. Their children included:

William 1754-01-12
There was also a William Berry who married 1754-02-26 Ann Porch, and a Thomas Berry who married 1749-08-05 Catherine Jones.
William and Richard would be of the right age to be Bridget's brothers. William could be son of James + Grace Powell, but Richard is not listed as a son of James. That would imply at least one other Berry family in the parish. Perhaps Richard and Bridget are siblings, and first cousins of William.

Most entries at the LDS site says the above William was born 1723-02-23 and was s/o James Berry + Grace Powell. One says he was born 1728 and was s/o Enoch Berry 1708 Hampshire Co VA d 1763 + 1726-09-xx Drucilla Burnbury. [should be Dulcebella Bunberry]
