Robert Hopkins, will probated 1677-03-06, bequeathed property to wife Katherine, sons Thomas, Robert, and George, friends William Moss and John Fennell.

Katherine, now wife of George Smith, gives to daughter Katherine Hopkins, and mentions daughter Jane Hopkins.
Katherine, now wife of Avery Naylor, gives land to son Robert Hopkins Jr in 1684.
George Hopkins, son of Robert, sold land in 1682.
Robert Hopkins sold land to Edward Rowzee, who sold it to Thomas Jones.

October 1661 Robert Hopkins, and his wife, Katherine, gave "William Talbut Junr. one Brown
heifer wth swallow tayle in her right Eare & a cropp in ye left Eare & a hole in the male Catle to be for ye
use of ye Father of ye sd Child during his life & after ye death of ye father both male & female to William
Talbut ye younger & his said heires forever..." This gift was not recorded until August 11, 1677, after the
death of William Sr. (ORCD&W 1677-1682, p. 135)

In the July Court "Wm. Talbott & Katherine his Wife" were ordered to appear at the next court to give
testimony. (ORCOB 1687-1689, p. 79)

I Robert Hopkins being sick in body but of perfect sence
& memory, doe make this my last will & testamt...
I give & bequeath unto my deare wife Katherine Hopkins &
her heirs for ever, in barr of her dower all my land lying
from the Slashett[?] to the Miles end,
I give & bequeath unto my
three sonnes Thomas Hopkins Robert Hopkins & George
Hopkins & to their heires for ever all my land lying from
the Slashett aforesaid, to the side of Rappa River to be devided
in three equall parts between them by my loveing friends
Wm Moss & John Fennell, and as for my personal estate
my will is that it shall be disposed of for the paymt of
my debts, and I doe make my deare wife Katherine Hop-
kins my sole executrix of this my last will and Testamt.
Dated this 6th[?] day of _____ 1677
