I Edmond Jackson of Boston in New England
cordwinder being aged and sicke and weake of Body
but of Sound and prfect memory...doe make this
my last will and testamt...
I give and bequeath unto my son Samuell
Jackson the sume of tenn shillings to be paid
unto him within one yeare after my decease
I give and bequeath unto my son Jeremiah the
sume of tenn shillings to be paid unto him
within one yeare after my decease
I give
and bequeath unto my Daughter Hannah
Andrews wife of John Andrews the sume of
twenty pounds in money to be paid unto her
by my executrix hereafter named within one
year after my decease.
my will and meaning is that the full
remainder of my Reale and personall estate what-
soever it is or wheresoever it may be found shall
abide and remaine in the hands of my wife
together with my Overseers hereafter named
for the maintenance of my sd wife and children
namely Sarah Martha Susanna Edmund and
Mary - - - - and for the bringing of my sd children
up untill they attaine the age of eighteene
yeares and in the meantim my will is that
my said wife shall not imbessell or wast or
dispose any part of my estate other then for
there maintenance without consent of my Over-
seers or one of them and my will is that when
all my children have attained the age of
eighteene yeares then I give and bequeath One
third pt of the Remainder of my sd estate
(if any be) unto my sd Deare wife and the
other two third parts unto my sd children
to bee equally divided betweene them my
Eldest son to have a double portion there of
I doe hereby nominate constitute and appointe
my deare and loveing wife Elizabeth Jackson the sole
Executrix of this my last will and testamt
I doe hereby nominate constitute and appointe my
loveing frinds John Bateman & Joseph How to be
the Overseers of this my last will and testamt desire-
ing them to assist my wife in the due performance
of this my last will & testamt.
In witness whereof I the sd Edmond Jackson have
hereunto set my hand and seale the Day and yeare
first above writtene.

At a county court for Suffolk sitting in Boston 20th January 1683
Whereas Elizabeth the Relict and sole Executrix of the within written last will and testament of Edmond Jackson is lately decd
intestate before full adm made of the Estate of Testator full power and authority to administer de bonis non
administrates is granted unto Samuell Jackson eldest son of the testator. And he hath given security to administer
the same according to law. And to pursue the performance of his sd fathers will is what rests farther to bee done therein.
