Severall parcells of land in Hertford upon the river of Connecticott belonging to Richard Watts & to his heires forever.
viz: One parcell on which his dwelling house now standeth contayning by estimation two roods (more or lesse) abutting on the high way leading from George Steels to the great swamp on the east & on Henry Wakelyes land on the north & on Samuell Gardeners & on Richard Billings & land on the west & on a high way leading to John Barnards land on the south.
One parcell of upland lyeing in the fourty acres contayning by estimation three acres (more or lesse) abutting on the high way leading over Rocky toward the little river on the north & on the high way leading over Rocky Hill toward the west on the south & on Willm Watts his land on the west & on Henry Wakelyes land on the east.
One parcell lyeing on the east side of the great river contayning by estimation three acres (more or lesse) abutting upon Thom Tompsons & on James Steels & on Natt Kelloggs land on the west & on Willm Weslyes land on the east & on a high way leading from the great river to the meadow on the north & on John Skinners land on the south.
One psill lying neere Hockanum contain by estima five acres be it more or less two acres whare of did belong to his sunn William Wattes abutting on the greatt river on the west & on a hyway leading toward Wethersfilld on the east & on Robbard Barttletes land on the south & on Frances Andrewes his land on the north.

One psill lying in the greatt swamp contain by estima five acres & one roode be it more or less abutting on the hyway to Wethersfilld on the east & on Jo Willcocks land on the south.

One parsill lying neere Hockanum contain by estima three acres be it more or les wich is psill of thatt wich is copyed to Will Watts containg five acres: two acres whare of is returned to his sunn William Wattes & now remayneth three acres abutting the greatt river on the west & on a hy way leadding toward Wethersfilld on the west & on Robbard Barttlettes land on the south & on land belonging to the sayd William Wattes on the north.
One psell of wodland contain by estima six acres be it more or les abutting on the hyway leding toward Wethersfilld on the east & on Rocky Hill on the west & on John Willcockes land on the south & on John Graves his land on the north.
One parsell of wodland lying on the east side of the greatt river contain by estima twenty acres be it more or les abutting on the hyway leding toword Wethersfilld on the west & contenowing to the eand of Harttford bounes on the east.
One psell of wodland which he resaived of Pall Peck contain by estemation six acres be it more or les which lyeth in a gretter psell in which John Bayse & Joseph Eson have a partt which greter psell abutteth on Rockihell on the west & on a hyway to ye grat swamp on the east & on land wheare in Jams Coll & William Hills & others have a part on the south.

I Richard Watts of Hartford, upon the River of Connecticut, beaing weak and ill in my body but in perfect memory and understanding, Doe make and Ordain this my Last will and Testament in manner and form as ffoloweth:
Imprimis. It is my will that my wiff Elizabeth Watts shall possess and injoy my whole estate during the term of her natural lif. And alsoe I will and give unto my wiff fful power and Authority toe giv & despose at her own will & pleasure Twenty pounds off the estate I leave behind mee.
The Resedu of my estate That Shall be remayneng after The death of my wiff It is my will that it be Equally Divided amongst the Children of my Daughter Hubbard & the child of my Daughter Browne, I mean the children now born & that then shall be living.
Also I will & give to my Daughter Browne the whole Charge of her board & the board of her child, her husband & servant, ffrom the Time that her husband went ffrom her toward England Toe the Day of my Death, with all other moneys or charges that I have Disbursed ffor her use. That Thes my last Will and Testament be truly & ffaithfully performed, I make & Ordayne my wif Elizabeth my Soal Exectrix, And intreat my loving friends Richard Butler and James Ensign to be overseers to this my will.
In witness hereunto set my mark the day & year first above written. In the presence of us: Richard Butler, James Ensign.

Wee whose names are heer underwritten doe witness that Richard Wats in his last sickness whereof he dyed did express that it was his will that Hana, the Daughter of his Daughter Browne, should have a duble portion off the estate that is to be divided to the children expresst in his will.
Further we witness that it was his will that his son Thomas Wats, after the Death of Elizabeth the wif of the said Richard, should have & injoy as his fforever his three acre upland lott at the Town's End.
