A web site whose address I forgot to copy says a book "Quackenbush and Related Families" gives his father as Samuel Helling bp 1665,
and that Samuel's parents were Hendrick Tunisz Helling + Grietje Samuels Barents.

On 1734-12-09 in Bucks Co PA he produced an account of the estate of John Walley on behalf of his wife Elizabeth.

I Nicholas Hellens of Newtown in the County of Bucks in the
Province of Pensilvania, Yeoman, being of sound mind memory & understanding
do make my last Will & Testament in manner following that is to say

first I will that all my Just Debts & funeral Expences be truly paid & discharged

I give to my son Simon Hellens twenty shillings Lawful Money of Pensilvania
to be paid by my Executor hereafter named at the end of twelve months after my
Decease.

I give to my son John Hellens twenty shillings like Money to be paid
as afsd.

I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Griffith a feather Bed Bedding and
furniture & thirty shillings like Money to be paid as aforesaid.

I give to my Son Richard Hellens my best suit of apparel and twenty shillings like money
to be paid as aforesaid.

I give to my Daughter Mary Dungan twenty shillings like money to be paid as aforesaid.

I give to my Daughter Sarah Shaw one shilling like Money to be paid as aforesaid.

I give to my Daughter Martha Doyle twenty shillings like money to be paid as afsd.

I give to my Daughter Patience Vanhorne twenty shillings like Money to be paid as aforesaid.

I give to my beloved wife Elizabeth Hellens the feather Bed which she had
when I marryed her with the Bedding & furniture and also one Red Coco-
called Heifer one Iron Pott one Iron Kettle one small pine table two Chairs
one Large Spinning Wheele & one small spinning Wheele.

All the rest of my Estate both real & personal I give and bequeath to my son Robert Hellens
& to his Heirs for ever and I do hereby appoint said son Robert Hellens
Executor of this my last Will & Testament.

In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my Hand & Seal this nineteenth Day of July in the Year of our
lord one thousand seven hundred and forty five.
