Do I have the wrong William? Note that this William is listed with his father in Scott Co and single.
Just before this family is William Osmus? 34 with wife Mary E 31 and stepdaughter Anna Yandell 13. Mary is widow of this William's half-brother James.
After them is a Langley family, then Jackson Yandell. As far as I know Jackson didn't have a son William, but there's a gap before his first child. Also note that the above entry shows William's father born MO. This William's father was born in KY, but Jackson was born in MO.
There isn't another William Yandell the right age on the 1880 census, so I think this must be the William who married Savannah.
