There is also an 1854-12-12 Goochland Co VA marriage record for Robert H Rigsby 1834 + Barbara Ann Walker 1831. Robert is shown as son of William C Rigsby. Robert H + Barbara appear on the 1860 census in Hanover Co VA, then he dies in 1865 in Goochland Co and she remarries in 1866.
The 1850 census shows only one Robert Rigsby in Goochland Co, though. If William's son was the one who married Barbara, who is this one?
I think they also had a daughter Mary C c1857 d 1859-03-09 Goochland Co VA, but the death record for that Mary gives her father as "L B" Rigsby.
