I, Sarah Riggsby, of Red Bush, Johnson County, Kentucky,
being more than twenty-one years of age, and of sound mind and
memory, do hereby make and publish and declare this to be my
Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all wills and codicils
heretobefore made by me.
Item 1: I order and direct that my Executrix hereinafter named, pay
all my just debts and funeral expenses out of my estate as soon as
practicable after the time of my death.
Item 2: All my property of every kind and description, and especially
being my personal property such as furniture and effects, I will,
devise and bequeath to my daughter, Nannie Mae Sparks, also of
Red Bush, Kentucky. This shall include the safe owned by me and
any contents therein.
Should there be any cash remaining in my estate following
payment of my debts and funeral bills, I will, devise, and bequeath
same to my daughter, Mrs Nannie Mae Sparks, and my son, Lee
Riggsby Jr, share and share alike.
Item 3: To my other six daughters other than Mrs Nannie Mae Sparks,
I leave the sum of $1.00 cash.
Item 4: I make, nominate and appoint my daughter, Mrs Nannie Mae
Sparks, to be the Executrix of this, my Last Will and Testamnent,
and I request that no bond be required of her as such, and further
request that no inventory be made or taken of my estate after the
time of my decease, insofar as same may be lawfully omitted.
Witness this my Last Will and Testament, made at
Red Bush, Kentucky, this 6th day of September, 1974.
