Some RootsWeb entries say she married John Patterson Houston, but that seems to be wrong.
John's daughter Lydia's death certificate gives her mother as Eleanor Reed. Other RootsWeb entries
show Eleanor's father as Solomon Reed. Solomon is only one page away from John Houston's father
on the 1830 census.
Eleanor's sister Nancy is in John Houston's household on the 1850 census, but apparently just as a domestic.
