I may have this Mary confused with her cousin Mary Hinds.
One of them married Perry Tyler in 1878, and one married Charles Thomas in 1880.
According to the marriage certificate, the one who maried Charles Thomas was of Cedar Co MO. The other Mary lived in Cedar Co and this one lived in Cass Co; but this Mary was on the 1880 census with her mother and the other one is nowhere in Cedar Co, where her siblings were.
