Thomas might be s/o her son James. However, it's more likely he is from her son Jerry, who does not appear on the 1900 census.
Her daughter Sarah married Joseph Merrifield, but they didn't have a son Andrew on the 1880 census. They did have an Aaron age 5, though. Is Andrew the same as Aaron? Or did her daughter Susan also marry a Merrifield?
