On the 1930 census Lucy is listed as a widow with a son Bruce 18. That makes him born a long time before they married. Lucy was 40 when she married Atlas, and her name is given as Oates. There's a good chance Bruce is from an earlier marriage for her. I can't find Atlas, Lucy, or Bruce on the 1920 census, though. I also can't find a Holder/Oates marriage record.
