viz: One parcell on wch his dwellinge house now standeth with other outhouses, yards, & gardens therein beinge containinge by estimacon two acres (more or lesse) abuttinge upon the high way leadinge from the little river unto the north meadow on the east & upon the high way leadinge to the meeting house on the south & the meetinge house land on the west & Timothy Standlyes land on the north.
One parcell lyinge in the little meadow containinge by estimacon one rood twenty nine parches (more or lesse) abutting upon the high way leadinge from the little river unto the north meadow on the west & the river fallinge out of the north meadow on the east & John Pratts land on the north & Robert Dayes land on the south.
One parcell lyinge in the north meadow of meadow & swampe containinge by estimacon one acre three roods eighteene parches (more or lesse) viz: one acree one rood & eight parches of meadow & two roods & tenn parches of swampe abuttinge upon the great river on the east & upon the little river on the south & west & Mr Chaplains land on the north.

One psill of medow lying in the littell medow wich he bought of Stepenh Hartt contain by estima three roods & sevnteen parches be it more or less abutting on the hyway leadding fro the littell river to the north meadow on the west & on the river falling out of the north medow in to the greatt river on the east & on the north & on Richard Webbes land on the south.
One psell in the coupastuer contan by estma eaightt acres be it more or les abutting on the neck of land on the east & on the littell oxpastuer on the west & on Mrs Hocker hur land on the south & on William Wadsworths land on the north.
One psell of land lying in the bredgfilld contayn by estma twenty & five acres be it more or les which filld abutteth on the littell river on the east & on the deviding lyne betwene ye south & north side on the south & on common land on the west & on the north.
One psell of swamp lying in the north medow which he boughtt of William Rsco contain by estma two roodes be it more or les abuttnig on the grett river on the east & on John Marshes land on the west & on land belonging to the sayd Edward Stebing on the south & on Richard Goodmans land on the north.

One parcell of land which they bought of Mr John Davenporte & Mr Wm Goodwin (whoe are feofees in trust for the dispose of the estate of Edward Hopkins Esq according to his will) being the sd Mr Hopkins his house lott wth a percel of medow adjoyneing to it, together wth the dwelling house barne & other out houses gardens ortyards therein being, which sd land contaynes by estimation ten acres (more or less) abutting on John Whites land & on the high way west & on the high way leading to the Indians land sowth & on Jonathan Gilberts land (which was John Arnolds) east & on the Rivelett & high way north.

Invt. L639-02-00. Taken 19 August 1668, by Eleazer Holyoke, John Allyn, Thomas Bull & James Ensign. Will dated 24 August 1663:
I Edward Stebbing do here make my last Will & Testament.
First, I give to my wife Frances my houseing & Lands in Hartford, except such Lands as are hereafter mentioned to be sold, which she is to enjoy for the terme of her natural life, as also two best Cows & 3 of the Best Swine, as also ye Use of the Household Stuffe or so much of it as she shall see need to make Use of. Also in ye End of her natural life she shall have liberty to dispose of L40 as she shall see Fit.
I give to our beloved son John Chester L40.
I give & bequeath, after my wives decease, my Houseing & Land, such of my Lands as shall not be sold to pay my Engagements, I give them to Edward Cadwell, my son Cadwell's Child, and John Wilson, or if he dye before 21 years of age, I give them to Samuel Wilson.
And in Case my gr. child Edward Cadwell dye, then I give the above to the Children of my daughter Cadwell.
Also I give to Samuel Wilson L30.
I give to my son Gaylord's children, Joseph, Benjamin and Joanna, L8 apeice, also Mary Gaylord, whome I do order to be with her gr. Mother.
Also, I give to the four children of my daughter Holyoke, 40 Shillings apiece, John's part to be paid at the age of 21 years.
Also, I do appoint that John Wilson shall be with his Gr. Mother to help her according to his best skill and ability during her natural life, during which time I desire my Executors that he be instructed in my trade by Caleb Stanly, as it may accord with my wives comfort.
I ordain my wife to be my Executrix.
I desire the Hon. Mr Samuel Wyllys, my Brother Eleazer Holyoke, Lieut. Bull and Robert Webster to be Executors.
The remainder of my Estate, after the decease of my wife, to be disposed to my daughter Cadwells Children, to John Wilson, and to Mary Gaylord, at the discretion of my Executors.
I give to Richard Weller 20 shillings.
I give to my Executors 50 shillings apiece.
