A romantic marriage occurred here at 11
o'clock Thursday night, which has just
gained publicity. The contracting parties
were Miss Maud Fletcher, of Birmingham,
and Adolphus Riggsbee, of Brunswick
GA. Miss Fletcher had come here on a
visit and was joined by Mr Riggsbee.
They had been engaged for some time
and both became tired of further wait-
ing. They attended a concert here and
afterwards, near the midnight hour, were
made man and wife, only a few Gadsden
relatives being present. They left imme-
diately for Brunswick GA, the home of
the groom.
