Occupation: farmer.

Elijah first settled in Hebron where he lived a short time, from there to Nine Partners, NY, and thence to the Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania. After the war he returned to New York State, residing in Dover and Amenia, NY, where he died. His first wife was a Ms Millard, his second a Ms Jennings, and he married 1 Aug 1748 Jemima Wilcox as his third wife. He served in the Revolutionary Army, and was a great sufferer in the Wyoming Valley Massacre. At one time he had four sons in the service.
