A genforum message references a John Crow b 1600/1606 England d 1686-01-16 Hartford CT, wife Elizabeth Goodwin, daughter Hester married Capt Giles Hamilin. John's father: John b. 16 Aug 1561 in Highinegar, Essex,England married Olive BIRD b. 1564 in Sisten, Essex, England died 1604-11-27. His father: John b. 1535 married GOODWIFE b 1539. John Crow came to America in 1634, so if he is Christopher's father Christopher was born in England. One tree says Elizabeth Goodwin is his second wife, and not the mother of his children born in England.

He may not be a son of John Crow + Elizabeth Goodwin.
