Many RootsWeb entries show him also marrying 1786-05-15 Hannah Olcott. He would have been 78, which seems pretty old to marry again. It's possible, though.

The Marriage Records of the Second Congregational Church of Hebron, CT show Capt Ichabod Phelps marrying 1786-05-xx Hannah Post. She was actually an Olcott, widow of Jedediah Post.

He had a son Ichabod Jr 1738-02-11 Hebron CT d 1813-07-10 Gilead CT, who married 1761-01-04 Mary Trumbull 1741-02-13 d 1799-07-26 Gilead CT. They had a daughter Lucy 1768-11-24 d 1846-09-28 Hebron CT, who married 1789-08-30 Sampson Horton.

According to an old web page of participants in the Battle of Saratoga, the Ichabod who married Mary Trumbull was born 1738 in Windsor CT, died 1813 in Hebron CT, and had son Ichabod and daughter Lydia. Its sources are Lineage Books of the Charter Members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution; Daughters of the American Revolution: (Washington, DC, various years) (#45922, 55366); and Snell Charles, former Park Historian at the Saratoga National Historic Park; "A Report on the Organization and Numbers of Gate's Army, 19 Sep, 7 and 17 Oct 1777"
