I think this is the Martha Lowrance who married in Rowan Co NC 1859-02-22 James A Houston. Bondsman was O P Houston.
Is that James related to my James Houston? My James had a granddaughter who married a James Caruthers, and this Martha had a second half-cousin Elizabeth who married a different James Caruthers.

Whether or not that is true, she was married to T H Brown when she died.
