Deed Book "U" pp 169/70 16 Nov 1749 Culpeper Co. Va.
Whereas, John Bond of the County of Culpeper conveys slaves to
Thomas Parks Jr.
(brother to Mary Parks by will of their father Thomas Parks I) for the
benefit of his two daughters, Elizabeth and Mary (Bond) Long.

Will of John Bond date 17 April 1756.
John Bond of Culpeper County being now at this time in perfect health.

I desire my beloved wife Mary and my son in law Benjamin Long be and take upon them to be
executrix and exr.

I leave my beloved wife Mary my whole estate during life (only as is hereafter reserved) but
if she should intermarry with any other person that then my estate shall be taken out of her
hands reserving her thirds and the other two parts to be given to my daughter Mary Long.

The plantation whereon I now live to be my dearly beloved wife Mary's during life and afterwards
to my daughter Mary.

To my grandson John Bond Long, son of Bloomfield Long and Elizabeth his wife
my bed and furniture whereon I now lie but not to be delivered till the said John Bond Long
comes of age.

To my grandson Bloomfield Long son of Benjamin Long and Mary his wife my rifle gun
but not to be delivered till the said Bloomfield Long comes of age.

After the death of my beloved wife Mary Bond my whole personal estate and all the goods
and chattels that she then is possessed of shall be given to my beloved daughter Mary Long.
