Notes:

last name Grinman from this page
--
There was a Greenman family in Westerly, some of whom spelled it Grinman, but I haven't found an Elizabeth that could fit here. John Greenman 1602 Somersetshire was the immigrant, arriving 1631.
--
Savage has:
GREENMAN, or GRINMAN, DAVID, early a propr. of Taunton. Baylies, II.
265. Perhaps he was of Newport, freem. 1655. EDWARD, or EDMUND,
freem. of Newport 1655, Westerly 1661, perhaps s. of John. JOHN, R. I.
1638.
--
There was also a Silas Greenman and a Sylvanus Greenman in Westerly at the time. Silas was Justice of the Peace and/or Town Clerk, apparently. Silas married Eunice Babcock, d/o George Babcock + Elizabeth Hall.
--
Another researcher sends:
Silas also owned a shipyard. Two of his sons were captains.
--
There was an Elizabeth Greenman d/o William Greenman c1665 + Ann(e) Clarke. She seems to have been born c1706, though.
--
This page has a John Greenman 1666-03-27 Newport RI d 1727-09-30 same s/o Edward + Margaret or Mary, who married 1691 Elizabeth Dyer in Westerly. Edward was born c1630 ENG or Dorchester MA. There is no daughter Elizabeth listed, but the earliest child is 1694. This Elizabeth would certainly fit between 1691 and 1694.

--
There was also a Capt Edward Greenman in Westerly by 1702.

Voted that Capt Abel Tanner inspect or Inquire Into the Circustances of Simeon Odal In Order to find out Whether or Not he is able to Maintain his Mother Who is Now Chargeable to the Town and that this Town keep him Indemnyfyed. 14 Dec 1772..Abstracted by Vern Erickson.

[Why is she "now chargeable to the town"? Is it because her husband just died? Or is it because she reached the cutoff age (which I think was 60)? The latter is not really possible if she had a grandson in 1737, so the former is more likely. But currenly I have Joseph's death date as 1760, so why was she not chargeable to the town at that point?]
