Notes:

Bought 200 acres at Bays Fork, Warren Co KY 1805-12-20, paid $800.
In 1824 he owned 9 slaves and in 1831 he owned 12.

Sledge says he moved first to VA for a short time (James was born there), then to KY before his parents and siblings. Thomas is shown born 1795 in NC; Zachariah is shown born 1805 in NC. I'm guessing they passed through NC on the way from VA to KY.

There are two other children.

Where is the other son? John and Thomas married after 1820, but I don't know about Francis. I don't see any of them in Allen, Barren, or Warren Cos. Possibly the missing one is a laborer in another household and thus not enumerated separately.
