from genforum:
The Rebecca Bloomfield in the above note is daughter of Timothy Bloomfield. Timothy is son of Ezekiel Bloomfield and Hope FitzRandolph. It also says the Charles Salyer/Sallier who married her was born in 1697 (son of Charles 1672 maybe?)
Another post says Rebecca was born 1686-06-07 and married in 1717. She was Charles' second wife. Charles and Rebecca's children: Jeremiah 1732-04-06, Zachariah Benjamin 1730-01-24, Joseph 1719-01-06, Johanna 1721-01-22, and Samuel 1726-02-23. (All new-style) Charles Sallier's parents are William Sallier of France b.1647 and Sarah Davis b.1651 whose family was from Wales. Her father was Ffoulk Davis born abt.1620 in Wales. Mother Mary Dayton.
A post by the author of a Salyers book says that it is not proven that Rebecca's name was Bloomfield.
A later post says Zachariah (1730) above married Elizabeth Dunn born 1734 NC.

This page says:
Charles Salyer 1697-12-23 Woodbridge NJ
+ Rebecca Bloomfield 1686-06-07

1 Joseph Salyer 1719-01-06 Woodbridge NJ [may be same as Joseph Sailor/Saylor who lived in Mecklenburg Co NC and married Sarah Salyer d/o Zachariah]
2 Johanna Salyer 1724-01-22 Chowan Co NC
3 Samuel Salyer 1726-02-23 Chowan Co NC + Ester Poynter
4 Zachariah Benjamin Salyer 1730-01-24 Woodbridge NJ d 1789 Piedmont, Chowan Co NC + Elizabeth Dunn
5 Jeremiah Salyer 1732-04-06 Woodbridge NJ d 1789 Chowan Co NC + Esther Green [may not be same as Jeremiah who married Jane McCullough. Jeremiah 1732 assumed to be brother of Samuel and Zachariah as all were residents of northeast NC in 1754.]

Note: Chowan Co NC is nowhere near Rowan Co NC.
Note: Zachariah 1730 had a son Isaiah 1752 Rutherford Co NC + Mary Carty 1786; Isaiah had children born in Rowan Co NC, including Jeremiah 1775 d 1848.

This RootsWeb entry says his parents were Isaiah Salyers + (unknown) Sailor. However, it gives Jeremiah's birth and death dates as 1775 and 1840, and has a mostly different set of children for him.
Other RootsWeb entries say Isaiah's son married Elizabeth Rose and died in Russell Co VA.
