I, W D Rigsby of Rhea County Tennessee

It is my will and I direct and
devise that my executor hereinafter named
shall as soon after my decease as prac-
ticable pay all my just debts and my nec-
essary funeral expenses.

Second I will devise and bequeath to my
beloved wife Sarah C Rigsby for and during her
natural life all the real estate I may own
at my death.

Third I Will and bequeathe that my wife
Sarah C Rigsby and minor daughter Margie Rigsby
have a year support from proceeds of my farm.
I also devise and bequeathe to my said wife
Sarah C Rigsby two horses, two cows, also my hogs,
all household and kitchen furniture, all my
farming implements, my wagon, buggy wagon,
harness of all kind and description, my mower,
rakes, plows, in fact all my farming imple-
ments of every kind and character. I also devise
and direct that my said wife Sarah C Rigsby
have one thousand dollars ($1000.00) in money
to be paid to her out of proceeds of my per-
sonal estate in addition to foregoing bequests
by my executor before the division of my per-
sonal estate as hereinafter directed.

Fourth I will and bequeath that my execu-
tor hereinafter named pay to my wife Sarah C
Rigsby out of my personal estate the sum of
five hundred dollars ($500.00) for the use and ben-
efit of my little daughter Margie Rigsby and
I bequeathe to said Margie Rigsby said sum
out of my personal estate to be used by
her mother Sarah C Rigsby as she may deem
best for the education and maintainance of our
said daughter Margie Rigsby.

Fifth Knowing as I do the importance of
my son Wed Rigsby remaining for a time
in charge of my business, I devise and bequea-
th to my said son the sum of five hundred
dollars to compensate him for his services as
executor and to compensate him for looking af-
ter feeding and marketing my cattle and such
other stock as not specifically devised looking af-
ter farm for the period of 18 months from my death
and said Wed Rigsby is directed to use pro-
ceeds of farm after providing a support for my
said daughter and wife as hereinbefore pro-
vided, to feeding said cattle until they are
disposed of, and I devise and direct that my
said executor sell said cattle whenever he deems
it best and he is authorized to dispose of said
at public or private sale and on time or
for cash as he may deem best.

Sixth after the payment of the special
bequests heretofore set out and costs of ad-
ministration, I devise and bequeathe subject
to advancements hereinafter noted all bal-
ances of my personal estate in equal shar-
es to Sarah C Rigsby, Edith Abel, Wed Rigsby
Vennie Bean, Herman Rigsby and Margie Rigsby
share and share alike. the share in this be-
queath to Herman Rigsby is charged with the
payment of $350.00 notes and interest he owes
me and the share of Vennie Bean in the
personal estate bequeathed in this clause
is to be charged with such improvements on
house and grounds around house on tracts of
land this day conveyed to her and her children
by my direction and the amount so expend-
ed is to be charged as an advancement to
her.

Seventh at the death of my said wife
I direct and devise that my real estate be
sold by my executor and the proceeds of same
be equally divided between Edith Abel, Wed Rigs-
by, Herman Rigsby, and Margie Rigsby. I have al-
ready conveyed to Vennie Bean more real estate
than her share of same, therefore she is to re-
ceive no part of the proceeds of the sale of my
real estate.

Eight I hereby nominate and appoint my
son Wed Rigsby as the executor of this my
last will and testament and having the utmost
confidence in his integrity I relieve him from
making bond and giving security as such execu-
tor.

Signed and sealed on this the 30th day of May
1911.

Codicil

I W D Rigsby in my will of 30th day of May
1911 desire to cut out a portion of item sixth
where it reads share and share alike and
request as follows pay each heir $500.00 five hun-
dred dollars with what they have already recei-
ved according to notes and accounts which
shall be their part in full of my personal prop-
erty if there be any balance it shall be divid-
ed equally between Wed Rigsby and Sarah C Rigsby
as compensation for caring for me and supplying
my wants.

Signed and sealed on this the 30th day
of December 1912.
