[Moses is not listed in Mecklenburg Co NC on the 1800 census. He married 1791-01-12 Mary Walker.]

A lot of trees at Ancestry say her parents were James Walker and Margaret (Woods?) of Mecklenburg NC.
But they also say Martha was born in 1742, and have James born in 1744 and Margaret in 1746.
James' will mentions children: Matthew, Moses, Robert, Elizabeth, Martha (in that order).
But it is dated 1799, which is after James Yandell died.
James Yandell's will says that his son Robert has an uncle Robert Walker (which means Robert Walker was Martha's brother). But it also says that he (James Yandell) is due money from Robert Walker's estate, implying Robert Walker died before 1797. But James Walker's will of 1799 says his son Robert is still alive, so that James can't be the father of this Martha. Surely he's related, though, since Martha seems to also be related to a Moses Walker.

On the 1790 census for Mecklenburg Co NC, Robert Walker [112] and John Walker [111] are on p 384 and 385, in the alphabetical grouping containing the Yandells. On p378 are Moses Walker [101], Matthew Walker Senior [120] (no junior listed, though), Capt Archabold Walker [211], and William Walker [202].
