This contract made and entered into this the
29th day of December 1896, between L E Rigsby of the
first part and Mrs Hattie E Rigsby of the second part
Witnesseth That whereas the said Hattie E Rigsby fur
nished to the said L E Rigsby the sum of Three
Hundred and forty five (345.00) Dollars which sum
is yet due and owing to the said Hattie E Rigsby by the
said L E Rigsby Now therefore in consideration of said
sum and in payment of the same together with lawful
interest thereon from the 12 day of July 1894 the said
L E Rigsby does hereby bargain sell and convey unto
the said Hattie E Rigsby her heirs and assigns the
following personal property to wit 1 cabinet 1 watch
rack 1 small lot material 5 Clocks 19 peices opal ware
10 pieces silver ware 6 bronze statues 1 lot jewelers tools
2 silver watches 8 plated watch Chains 17 sets plate stud
buttons 3 ladies waist sets (Sterling silver) 4 silver belt pins
6 childs dress sets 13 plated Collar buttons 1 plated stud
button 2 breast pins 11 prs Caiff buttons 7 rings (solid)
2 watch protectors 1 card case 1 match case 1 stamp box
2 match safes 1 sterling 1 Morocco 1 pearl paper cutter 1
silk watch fob 2 plated watch charms 2 gold scraf
pins 5 plated watch bars 6 plated tie clasps 15 stick
pins 3 silk watch gaurds 1 box assorted stones (immitation)
1 plated butter knife 6 plated forks 24 plated spoons
9 dozen Aluminum thimbles 21 pairs spectacles and eye
glasses 11 steel and white metal charms 21 keyrings 6 silk
watch chains 1 silver tooth pick holder I Aluminum
pin tray 1 aluminum powder box 1 Aluminum book
mark I Aluminum tooth brush holder 1 aluminum
tobacco box 6 bicycle signs The delivery of the possession
of all the foregoing property is dispensed with and it is
agreed that the same shall remain in the possession of
the said L E Rigsby to be by him sold for the said Hattie E
Rigsby and converted into cash he atcing as her agent
and employe for said purpose And the said L E Rigsby
will warrant and defend the title to the said property
herein conveyed to the said Hattie E Rigsby against the
Claim of himself and all other persons In Witness
whereof the said L E Rigsby has hereunto set his hand
and affixed his seal the day and year above written

In consideration of the foregoing conveyance I
hereby receipt the said L E Rigsby in full of the
sum of three hundred and forty five dollars and inter
est thereon I also for the purpose of protecting my
property appoint the said L E Rigsby my agent to
possess the property herein convey for me and to
sell and dispose of the same for me

This contract witnesses that whereas on the 14 day
of Nov 1840 Mrs Hattie E Rigsby advanced to L E
Rigsby as the successor of Bolding and Rigsby the
sum of $44.10 which debt is due to the said Hattie E
Rigsby by the said Bolding & Rigsby now therefore I
L E Rigsby do hereby bargain sell and convey to make
E Rigsby her heirs and assigns in payment of the
said debt the following personal property belonging to
the sum of Bolding & Rigsby to wit One plated watch chain
#1301 ($2.23) one plated watch chain #4822 ($2.44) one plated
watch chain #456 ($2.44) one plated watch chain #182 ($1.25)
one silver watch ($5.25) one Elgin Movement ($4.00) one
gold ring #41 ($2.50) two breast pins #225-226 ($4.50) six
plated breast pins ($6.00) one plated breast pin ($1.25) one
Clock ($7.87) one pair gold cuff buttons ($3.00) plated cuff but
tons $1.00 one pair plated cuff buttons 17 cents one babys gold
ring 20 cts. The delivery of the possession of all the foregoing
property is dispensed with and it is agreed that the same
shall remain in the possession of the said L E Rigsby to
be sold by him for the said Hattie E Rigsby and conver
ted into cash he acting as her agent for said purpose and
the said L E Rigsby will warrant and defend the title to
said property herein conveyed to said Hattie F Rigsby against
the claim of said Bolding & Rigsby and all others
persons. In witness whereof the said L E Rigsby has
hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this Dec 29th
