This indenture made this the fifth day of November, Eighteen hundred and thirty-three,
between Allen J Rigsby of the one part and John McCarty of the other part, both of the
County and State.
Witnesseth: that the said Allen J Rigsby for and in consideration of the sum of One
hundred and fifty ($150.00) Dollars, to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents by the said John McCarty, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant,
bargain, and sell unto the said John McCarty, his heirs, executors and assigns, all
that lot or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the third district of said county
being that part of lot known in said District by the Number Seven which was
assigned to the said Allen J Rigsby as Legatee of Sarah Lanrs (Lain), Estate, Known
in said division by lot number Three containing thirty-seven and one-half acres.
Together with all and singular the rights and privileges there-unto belonging or in
anywise appertaining to his the said John and his H forever in fee simple. And the
said Allen for himself, his heirs, assigns, the said bargained land and premises unto
the said John, his heirs and assigns will warrant and defend against the claims of
all and every person whatsoever by virtue of these presents.
In witness whereof the said Allen J Hath set his hand and seal the day above.
