I Richard Willoughby of Johnston Co, NC. in the state of North Carolina, being sick and infirm in body
but of good & perfect mind and memory,
IMPRIMIS - I give & bequeath unto my beloved wife Margaret the use of all my estate, real and personal
during her lifetime or widowhood.
ITEM - - I give and bequeath unto my son Sollomon the plantation & tract of land whereas I now live with
sixteen acres joining it which I bought of John Hardcastle at & immediately after my wife decease or
marriage to his his heirs & assigns forever.
ITEM- - I give & bequeath unto my son Edward, one shilling sterling, he and the rest of my children not
mentioned in this will having had their full share of my estate already.
ITEM - - I give & bequeath unto my son Anthony four pounds which I lent him.
ITEM - - I give & bequeath unto my son Richard one feather bed and furniture.
ITEM - - I give & bequeath unto my daughter Anna one cow and calf and one pewter dish.
ITEM - - I give & bequeath unto my grand daughter Frances, daughter to my daughter Anna one. two
year old heifer.
ITEM - - I give and bequeath all the remainder of my estate, real and personal to my son Solomon and
my daughter Rachel to be equally divided between them at & immediately after my wife's decease or
marriage. And I do hereby make & appoint my beloved wife Margaret with my sons Richard & Solomon
executors of this my last will & testament hereby revoking disanulling & making void all former wills &
bequest by me made and declaring this only to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this 9th day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand, seven
hundred & eighty.
