I don't have proof that the Mary who married Allen Barker was James' daughter, but I think there is
enough circumstantial evidence.
Wake Co marriage records show Allen's wife was Mary Rigsby.
On the 1850 census James has a Mary Barker 55 living with him.
On the 1830 census James has no children, but on the 1840 there is a female 40-50, and a male and
female each 10-15.
On the 1800 census James has a daughter <10. The 1810 and 1820 censuses for Wake Co are missing,
so I don't know if she is with him on those.
On the 1830 and 1840 census there is no Allen Barker in Wake Co, but next door to James is Edmond
Barker c1785 who could be Allen's father. His 1830 entry contains a female 30-40 and a female under
10, but no male under 10.
Other than the missing male on the 1830 census, it looks like Mary married Allen, they had two children,
and he then died before 1830. She lived with Allen's father Edmond for a while, and then with her father.
