The only Rigsby in GA in 1830 who could be his father is John. However, all of John's sons have been accounted for, except one who was born after 1830.
Conceivably Augustus could have been born in GA, then his family move away, then Augustus move back to GA before getting married. This doesn't seem too likely, though.
