wife Sarah E 59 1841-04 WV/VA/VA
son Nicholas G 27 1873-01 MO/KY/MO
ward Jennie C Grayson 15 1884-07 MO/KY/MO

On the 1910 census Jayne Grayson age 25 is living with Nicholas and listed as his niece. They married in 1910 after the census.
None of his sisters married a Grayson, so I don't see how she can be his niece. She might be connected to Hiram's second wife.
MO birth records show a female Grayson born in St Clair Co 1884-07-07 to Thomas H Grayson and Mary L. The problem is that on the 1900 census in St Clair Co MO is Thomas H Grayson with a second wife Margaret (married 7 years) and a daughter Janey born 1883-07. How can Jane be in both households?
There doesn't seem to be another Jane Graysoin in the area, though.
