He and Sophia came to Maury Co TN in the early 1800s.
They settled on the Duck river in (now) Marshall Co TN in 1824.
They are in Little Rock AR 1828 to 1831.
John went to St Phillipe de Austin on the Brazos river in 1833.
Son Samuel lived in AR. Sons Reuben and Alfred lived in TX.

Message 11630 says he was in Nacagdoches Co TX in 1837.

The second one is too old.
I don't know when his children were born, except that Frances should be about 8. Either of the two entries could be him. Since the middle initial doesn't match on the first entry, it looks like he should be the third.
