I think this is the Israel Harris who married Mary and Mariah.
There was also an Israel Washington Harris 1814 Knox Co TN, s/o Israel Harris + Charity (unknown). That Israel married Evaline Shell and Sarah Hunter. He lived in IN and IL, and moved about 1850 to Dade Co MO, where he died in 1882. He was an uncle of this Israel Harris.
The Israel who married Mariah lived in Douglas Co IL on the 1870 and 1880 census. Note that my Israel Harris was born in TN just before his parents moved to IN. His brother John moved to Dade Co MO in the late 1850s.

The Kay Lamb book says this Israel married 1844-11-10 Sarah Hunter, and married 1854-03-16 Mary E Barnett.

I don't see him on the 1860 census.
The 1880 census shows only one child for him, Orlena c1873.
I suspect that he married 1854-03-16 Mary E Barnett, and had William by her. I suspect he second married Mariah J (unknown), and had Orlena by her.
Another (somewhat unlikely) possibility is that Mariah J is the same as Mary E.
