Another Hinds researcher has found a transcription of part of the Membership and Minute Books of the Antioch Church of Christ Worshipping at Antioch, Lamar County, TX which contains the following items in their list of deaths:
Sophia Hinds died May 14th, 1871
Calvin Hinds 1879
In one of the membership lists, the following item appears:
Calvin Hinds, Baptist, died spring of 1879
