Three of Erik's children immigrated to the US in 1847 on the ship "Kong Sverre". A fourth, Eric, immigrated in 1854. These four siblings were married to four Tjelle siblings. They settled in Grundy Co and Kendall Co IL. A Chally researcher says they probably settled right on the county line, with two couples on each side.

They also had a son Erik Eriksson c1826 d c1831.
