Notes:

Some trees say he was s/o John Cagle + Margaret Hardwick, some say Leonard Cagle and various wives.
His death record says his parents were G and R Cagle, and that his father was born in Germany and his mother in something I can't make out that looks like "Scotinlle".
That birth date is probably correct, but the county may be wrong. The death record says he was 91, but his birth location is given just as NC. The 1790 census has a George Cagle in Moore Co NC (next to Cumberland) who has a son under 16.
