I'm not positive Leander was their son, but it seems very likely.
His age and location are consistent with an unidentified son living with Zelah + Charity on the 1830 and 1840 census. On the 1850 census Leander is 2 pages away from Zelah.
The 1840 census for Fayette Co IL has only 2 Watwoods: Z F (Zelah), and Nely; they are on consecutive pages. Nely has 2 sons 10-15, so Leander should not be from her family.

Hinds genforum message 342:
I have a book "Solomon Geron and his Descendants : 1761-1968' by Jewell Daphne
Gerron Woodward that states Ebenezer Byram gave Charity Hinds (recently young
widowed - mother of six - wife of Solomon Geron) a slave in a living deed out of
kindness and affection. Charity was born in TN and the daughter of John Hinds and
Elizabeth Pugh.

Some sources show this Charity Hinds married to Solomon Geron. I'm pretty sure it was a different Charity.
The Solomon Geron book does not explicitly state the parents of Charity Hinds. It shows that Solomon Jr was born in 1790, and married Charity in 1814. It seems unlikely he would marry a 12-year-old girl who was 12 years younger than he. A much more likely match would be one of the Charity Hindses born in 1789. It seems to me most likely to be this one.
Also note that Zelah Watwood, whom I have married to this Charity, was in Fayette Co IL with siblings of this Charity. He is on the same page of the 1830 census as Joseph Hall, who married Charity's sister Sarah. The other siblings are within a few pages.

Who is the other man? The unidentified daughter might be his, or Zelah's.
