Note: I am guessing she was the mother of Melissa.
Rhoda certainly married Robert Hart, as shown in Wayne Co KY marriage records. Family lore says they
moved to MO.
This RootsWeb entry shows Melissa Hart born in KY and married to Jesse Kidd. Their children as listed
match an 1850 census entry that contains a woman who seems to be this Rhoda (below).
Jesse + Melissa named their first daughter Rhoda Frances. His mother was Frances, so it seems very
likely her mother was Rhoda.

There are 4 Hart families in Wayne Co KY on the 1820 census. Hezekiah and Childers do not have a son
who could have married in 1822. Charles has a son 16-26. The fourth, Robert, is 26-45 and next to
Charles. Robert has a son and a daughter, both under 10, and a wife 16-26.
Could it be that Robert's wife died and he then married Rhoda? Or was Robert a brother of Charles, and
did Charles have a son Robert who married Rhoda?
This would appear to be them, as Pulaski is next to Wayne:

Robert Hart 1 M <5, 1 M 20-30, 2 F 5-10, 1 F 20-30
But messages on Genforum say the Robert in Pulaski Co was s/o Israel, and married Dorcas Harris.

Hickman Co is on the Mississippi River across from MO. But they don't have a daughter Melissa's age.

Robert S Hart 2 M <5, 1 M 5-10, 1 M 10-15, 1 M 30-40, 2 F <5, 2 F 5-10, 1 F 30-40
Rhoda would have been 30 as of the census date, so she may have been recorded as 20-30 or 30-40.
On the 1840 census there is a Robert Hart in Russell Co KY, but he is the one from Pulaski Co KY.
There are two Robert Harts in MO. Robert S is still in New Madrid Co. The other is:
