I Levi Hinds Sr late of Knox County and State of Tennessee
being now on a sick bed but sound in mind and memory...
do ordain this my last will & Testament...
I give and bequeath to Each
of my sons Joseph Levi and John Hinds and my daughter
Rutha Pierce Sarah Hinds and Rhoda Gist and the children of
my daughter Hannah Graham deceased to each of them
an Eaqual part of my Estate Real and personal, viz, to Each
of my children now living and to the children of my daughter
Hannah Graham Deceased to wit Manasha Sarah Levina and
Charaty what would have been their Mothers Eaqual childs part of
my said Estate had she been Living to be eaqual proportioned
among these as they severly be come of the age of Eighteen years
and I do Require my Executors hereafter to be named as soon as the
sale of my said Estate hereafter to be divided take place
or the money arising from said sale be collected to put that
of the money coming to the children of the said Hannah Graham
as aforesaid to Interest with sufficient surety[?] for the said children
when the severly arrive at the age of Eighteen years.
I do hereby ordain and appoint my beloved son Joseph and Levi
Hinds and my friend Eli Scaggs of Knox County Tennessee
my Executors to carry this my said last will and Testament into affect
And I do require and Ordain that my said Executors make sale
of the hole of my Estate both Real and personal
Either at publick auction or private sale as they may agree
to be the most advantagious to the heirs provided never less that
if any of the Legates shall choos to keep any of the said property
they can do so provided the said property be valued by
two disinterested persons. And I do herby direct and ordain that
my said Executors make sale of my land in Knox County
Tennessee as above. And I do herby authorise empower them to
make a transfer title or letter do all other act or acts
the law may Require in the said case. I do herby obrigate
and disanul any other will or wills by me hertofore
made and do declare and ordain this my last
Will and Testament and no other in witness whereof
I do hereunto set my hand and seal the 28 day of
August 1817.
