Haywood Co TN Will Book 3 p354
I Sarah Weaver of the County of Haywood and State
of Tennessee, do make and publish this my last will
and testament, hereby revoking and making void
all other wills by me at any time made;
First I
direct that my funeral expences and all my debts be
paid as soon after my death as possible, out of any
moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come
into the hands of my executors.
Secondly, I give and
bequeath unto my beloved daughter Cynthia H Link
and her bodily heirs after her death, my lot of slaves
consisting first of Mary a woman about twenty two
years old, and her two children, Sarah Ann about
four years old, and Mariah about two years old,
them and their increase, to have and to hold the
above lot of slave to their use and benefit after my
death.
Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my beloved
grandson Benjamin Weaver, son of Williamson Weaver,
one Bed, one Bolster, two pillows and slips, one sheet one quilt
and one white figured Counterpain.
Fourthly, I give
and bequeath unto my blove granddaughter Laura
Jane Weaver, one white figured Counterpain.
Lastly, I
do hereby nominate and appooint Crowder Holloway
and Edmund Davie my sole executors to transact all
my business. In witness whereof I do to this my
will set my hand and seal this 22nd day of August
one thousand eight hundred and forty three.
