of Surry & State of North Carolina being weak in body but in
strong memory, make & ordain this my last will & testament.

First I give & bequeath unto my oldest daughter Mary Lakey One Dollar
I give & bequeath unto Sarah Fanning One Dollar
I also give & bequeath unto my son James Howard half the Land
& perishable property after each child has their share as I
shall hereafter prescribe
I give & bequeath unto Wm Howard One Dollar
I also give & bequeath unto Susannah Vance One Dollar
I also give & bequeath unto Lucy Kenny one Dollar
I also give unto Ann Fanning One Dollar
I give unto my Daughter Elizabeth half of my wearing apparel
I also give unto my son John Howard One Dollar
I also give unto my son Abraham Howard a Ten Pound Horse
I give unto my son Charles Howard One Dollar
I give unto my Daughter Judah half my wearing apparel
& also half the Land & perishable property after
each child has their share as I have made & ordered my will
