Where as in the action of George & Mary Hinds Admin.(?) request, George & Mary Hinds
heirs to Defendant then preceding in the Breckenridge Circuit Court an order was entered
at the April Term 1870 directing Williamson Cox, the Master Commissioner of said Court,
to dispose for sale at public auction, the property, hereinafter described, and whereas
said property was sold in accordance with said order on the Eighteenth day of July 1870
and for the sum of One hundred and Eighteen 75/100 ($118.75). And, whereas the report
of said sale was confirmed by said court, at the April Term 1871, and at the same Term an
order was entered directing the commissioner to execute a Deed of Conveyance of said
property to said Benjamin Hinds, who takes the place of Hamilton R. Hinds who was the
purchaser. Now, therefore, this Indenture, made and entered into this 24th day of May,
1871 between Hannah Basham, formerly Hinds, Hamilton R. Hinds, Squire Hinds,
Margaret Simpson, formerly Hinds & John Simpson her husband, George W. & Isaac S.
Bond, children of said Margaret, Jane Turpin, formerly Hinds, & Vincent her husband,
Polly A. Turpin & Richard her husband, George W. Hinds, Ellen Hinds, heirs of John
Hinds, deceased, Squire Aldridge, Lewis C. Aldridge, James Aldridge, Mary J. Aldridge,
Mary E. Aldridge & Ruth Aldridge, heirs of Charity Aldridge, formerly Hinds, all heirs of
George & Mary Hinds, deceased, by Williamson Cox, Master Commissioner of the said
Court, of the first part, and the aforesaid Benjamin Hinds of the second part. With respect
that for and in consideration of the premises, and for the further consideration of the full
payment of the purchase (?) aforesaid, the receipt where of hereby acknowledges the
parties of the first part, by Williamson Cox as Commissioner aforesaid have sold, and by
this writing do convey to said party of the second part, and his heirs and assigns forever
the following described property, to Wit; A certain tract or parcel of land lying & being in
Breckenridge County on the North Fork of Rough Creek, and bounded as follows, to wit,
"Beginning at a white oak & 2nd oak "Bartlett A. Basham corner on top of a bluff on
Buffaloe "Whence N 75 E 250 poles to a post oak & small chestnut " Benny Robinson line,
hence with the same S 20 E 22 poles "To a white oak on the North fork of Rough Creek....
