This Indenture made this the twenty fifth
day of February A D Eighteen hundred
and Sixty two between Ozey Langley of the one part and
John W Rigsby in trust for his wife Laura Ann Ama
nda Rigsby of the other part all of the County and
State aforesaid Witnesseth that the said Osey Langley
for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty dollars
to him in hand paid as well as for the love and
affection which he has and bears to his grand
daughter the said Laura Ann Amanda Rigsby hath
granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto the
Said John W Rigsby in trust for his wife the said
Laura Ann Amanda the following parcel of land
to wit ten acres to be laid off in a square in
the South East Corner of lot of land number 210
Two hundred and ten in the 31 Thirty first dis
trict of Originally Lee now Marion County
To have and to hold the said parcel of land
unto him the Said John W Rigsby in trust
as aforesaid his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns the same to be free from the
debts contracts and liabilities of the

John W Rigsby both in law and Equite and to the Probur
use benefit and behoof the Said Laura Ann Amande
forever in fee simple And the said Oser Langley for
himself his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns
unto the said John W Rigsby in trust for the Sole and
Separate use of her the Said Laura Ann Amanda Will
warrant and forever defend the right and title to
the above described land against himself and
against the claim of all and every other person
or persons whatever

Schley County

Personally appears John W. Rigsby of Schley County, State of Georgia, who being
duly sworn, says on oath that he his a bona fide citizen and resident of said
state, and has resided therein continuously ever since the 28th day of Dec.
1858; that he enlisted in the military service of the Confederate States during
the war between the states and served as a private in Company E, of 63rd
Regiment of Ga. Volunteers, Mercer(?)'s Brigade; that whilst engaged in such
military service at the battle of Thunderbolt in the state of Georgia, on the
1st day of January 1864, he was wounded as follows:

That while engaged in the Confederate service, at Thunderbolt, was detailed to
mount cannon & while doing said work was ruptered so that it renders me
essentially, substantialy and totally unfit to follow the mormal avocations of
life. I drew in 1893 in Marion County, Ga.

Deponent desires to participate in the benefits of the Act, approved October
24th, 1887, and the acts amendatory thereof, and makes application for the
allowance to which he is entitled for the year ending October 26, 1894. I have
heretofore been allowed a pension of fifty dollars, for the year 1893.
