Children of Russell Rigsby and Mary (unknown):
Henry Rigsby | b. about 1840-00-00 |
Notes:
[R17.2.2]
I am not at all sure he was a son of Lewis, but they are the only Rigsbys in Wilkes Co NC on the 1830 census, and are on the same page. However, Lewis appears to be too young to be Russell's father.
--
Did he have a son Russell?
--
This should be him:

Court, Probate, and Land Records
Fayette Co TX 1859-12-01 Russell Rigsby to Russel Rigsby 160 acres
This Russell should be one of those two, but I don't know who the other is.
--
I think he served in the Civil War (Confederate), 26th TX cavalry Co D.
There was a Russell Rigsby in that company. This was the only Russell in TX, but he would have been in his 60s.
