Know all men by these presents that
I Thomas Grieves of the County and State
aforesaid for in consideration of the sum of Seventy five
dollars to me in hand paid by Laffyett Rigsby of the same
place at and before the sealing delivery of these presents
hath and doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said
Lafayett Rigsby his heirs and assigns the following described four
acres off of lot of land Number one hundred and Ninety three
situate in the Ninth district of said County bounded as follow
on the North by a vacant lot owned by William James on the East by the
Box ancle road on the South by the South four acres of land recently
sold by the said Greaves to Graham Bishop and on the west by
the place now owned by Nancy Ann Garrett To Have to Hold said
land unto him the said Fayett Risby his heirs and assigns in for
simple forever and I the said Greaves will warrant and forever
find the right and title of said premises together with all & singul
the rights members appurtenances thereof to the same in any me
belonging from the claim or claim or claims of all persons
that shall or may claim the same and I also and my heirs
Executors Administrators to warrant defend the title
thereof to said Rigsby forever In witness whereof I the sd
Thomas S Greaves have hereunto set my hand and seal the
twenty first day of July 1853 1 Interlined before assigned

This Indenture made this the
twenty fourth day of October in
the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and fifty three between
Samuel L Rigsby of the above named County State aforesaid
of the one part and William Benjamin Pearson of the same place
of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel L Rigsby for
in consideration of the sum of Sixty dollars to him in hand
paid at and before the sealing delivery of these presents
hath granted bargained and sold by these presents do
grant bargain and sell unto the said Wm Benjamin Picker
his heirs assigns all that parcel of land situate in the North
District of said County containing one acre more or less and
bounded as follows on the North by a vacant lot owned by
Wm James on the east by the box anch Road on the south
by a parcel of land owned by Saml L Rigsby and on the
west by a portion of the last mentioned lot better know
as one acre of the lot that the said S D Rigby bought of
Thomas Frears To Have to Hold the said acre of land and
the said Wm Benjamin Jackson together with all singular the rights on
bers appurtenances forever in fee simple and the said S L Rigsby
Warrant forever defend the right title thereof In witness whereof
said S L Rigsby hath hereunto set his hand 1858
