I John C Rigsby of Hooker Pulaski
County, State of Missouri being in
poor health but of sound mind and
disposing memory, do make and
publish this my last will and testament...

To my beloved wife Laura E Rigsby
I give and bequeath all of my houshold and
kitchen furnisure Five cows and calves
one pair work mules one bugy my saddle
horse one half of the hogs an at time
of my death. Five hundred Dollars in
money. the exclusive use of the dwelling house
where I now reside including yard Garden
outbuildings appentenant and adjoining
thereto and one fifth of crops and
products of the farm now owned and
ocupied by me. all to be and during her
life.

To my beloved son Loren Claud
Rigsby I give and bequeath the plantation
on which I reside known as the old
Hamer[?] farm on big piney River and all
lands bought by me adjacent thereto. being
section 18 and 19 township 36 range 10 and
section 13, 24 and 25 Township 36 range 11
subject to and on the following conditions
first: that he pay to and deliver to his
mother the said Laura E Rigsby one fifth
___ all the crops raised on said farm
as provided for in paragraph two of this
writing. second that he pay within one year
from the date of my death to my beloved daughters
Emma Rigsby Branson, Lea Rigsby Nicks and
Katy Mary Rigsby Trower, each the sum of two
Thousand Dollars within the same time, that is
one year after my Death. I further give to my
said son Loren Claude Rigsby, all of my interest
in all tools, farming implements and machinery,
harness, wagons, and all things on my farm
and for use thereon, which I my have at
time of my death. In the event of the refusal
of my said son, Loren Claude Rigsby's to accept
the provisions of this paragraph, or of his death,
or inability to comply with the terms required
of him and on his part, then it is my will
that said land shall descend to all my heirs
according to the laws of desent in effect in
this state.

It is my will and and
I hereby vest and empower my executors
hereinafter to be named, to sell and convey
the fee simple title to the tract of land which
I own in section 33, township 34, rang 10
known to us as the Morgan farm, also to
sell all bank stock, and all personal property
owned by me at the time of my death, other
than the property hereinbefore bequeathed, at private
sale, within a reasonable time and in such
manner and on such terms as they may deem
best, and that the proceeds arising therefrom,
be divided equally between my wife Laura
E Rigsby, my sons Hugh A Rigsby and Loren
Claude Rigsby and my daughters Emma Rigsby
Branson Lee Rigsby Nicks and Kittie Rigsby
Trower share and share alike, this provision
is to include all money, notes, and choses[?] in
action which may belong to me at the time
of my death.

I hereby nominate and appoint my
sons Hugh A Rigsby and Loren Claude Rigsby
and survivors of either of them executors
of this my last will and testament, and
direct that they be permitted to qualify with
out bond.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my seal to
this instrument of writting and do here-
by declare and publish the same as my
Last Will and Testament, this 11th day of May
A D 1915.
