It appears she married David Swope c1835 KY.
The problem is that on the 1860 and 1870 censuses David's wife is shown as Margaret c1838 NC. Mary is still with her parents on the 1860 census, so I don't see how she can be David's wife. But David's children are listed with Mary's mother as grandchildren on the 1880 census.
