Know ye that, for & in consideration of the sum of one cent ___
paid to the office of the entry taker of White County and
___ on the 3 day of January 1826 pursuant to the programs of
an act of the county assembly of said state passed on the 22 day of
November 1823 and the act of supplement ___________

There is granted by the said state of Tennessee unto Canady Rigsby
a certain tract or parcel of land, containing twenty four acres
by survey, bearing date of 20th day of April 1827, lying in said county on
the waters of the cen__ fork in the fork of Townsends mill creek
__ Cedar Creek & bounded as follows to wit Beginning at a white
oak of ____ fork on William Glinns 75 acre survey entered in
the name of John Coats, running thence west with the line
of said survey passing to corner at 45 poles in all 60 poles
to a black gum Thence south sixty-six and two third poles to
a Poplar thence east sixty poles to two black oaks
thence north sixty-six and two thirds poles to the begin-
ning.

with appurtenances, to have and hold the said tract or parcel of land, with its appurtenances, to the said
Canady Rigsby and his heirs forever.
In witness thereof, Samuel Thornton, Governor of the State of Tennessee,
has hereunto set his hand and caused the great seal of the state to be affixed at Nashville,
on the 4th day of May in the year 1828.
