I am not positive he was a son of Daniel, but location and names make me think he was.
Many genealogies have him as a son of Canada, but the census entries do not support this.
There is a chance he and John were sons of Daniel's brother Wright. See my notes for them. There is also a chance that Harris is from another family entirely.
