Notes:

She was born between 1755 and 1765.

--
I am not positive her last name was Wright, but it seems believable.
They named one of their children Wright.
Their son John named one of his daughters Susan Wright Rigsby.

--
Wright families in Wake Co NC on the 1790 census:
p245 James Wright 111
p246 John Wright 105
p247 Joseph Wright 224
p249 William Wright 100
p273 Sam Wright 313

James Rigsby is on p263, but the page numbers don't have a lot of meaning. The names in the county
seem to be alphabetized by first name in groups. That is, there will be some Benjamins, then Charleses,
and so on up to William, and then the cycle will start over. I don't know if the groups represent different
inhabited areas within the county or what.
Any of the Wrights above may be brother or father of Susannah. Her father might not even be alive.
No Wright families in Orange or Chatham counties, strangely enough, but there is a Joseph Right and a
Simon Right in Chatham.

--
Another possibility is that her last name was Buchanan.
James Rigsby 1793 who married Sarah Thompson is said by many web pages to be a son of George
Rigsby + Hannah Buchanan of Wake Co NC. I can't find any evidence of a George among the Wake Co
Rigsbys, and circumstantial evidence suggests James belongs with my James + Susannah instead. Could
Hannah be the same as Susannah, and her husband be James George Rigsby?
I think this is not as likely as Wright.

--
Other possibilities are: Wilson, Stanley, Barbee

--
She is not the Susannah Wright 1755-04-16 d/o John Wright + Rachel Wells.

--
Ancestry's ThruLines suggests she is d/o Winfield T Wright 1709-02-10 Northumberland, Lancaster Co VA d 1783 Granville Co NC + Mary Pridham 1720 VA d 1762 Halifax Co VA.
Mom matches 5 descendants of 4 other children of this couple, from 7 to 15 cM.

1830 census Allen Co KY p52
Mrs Susannah Rigsby 1 M 10-15, 2 M 15-20, 1 F 10-15, 1 F 15-20, 1 F 50-60
Who are the children with her? All her children should be over 30.
The children match the 1820 list for her son Daniel, who does not appear on the 1830 census.
Daniel's wife Lydia does appear on the 1830 census, but the children with her match the 1820 list for Daniel's brother Wright, who also does not appear on the 1830 census.

I haven't found her on the 1820 census. I'm fairly sure she is in Allen Co KY, probably living with another
family and thus not enumerated separately. Her four youngest children married in Allen Co between 1815
and 1817.

1810 census Pendleton Co SC p140
Susannah Rigsby 1 M 10-16, 3 F 10-16, 1 F 45+
[James II 16, Susanna 13, Dicy 14, Elizabeth 16, Susannah]

Her sons are on pages 141 and 142. Jeremiah Smith, who apparently married the oldest daughter, is on page 150.

1800 census Wake Co NC p758
Susanah Rigsby 1 M 0-10, 2 M 10-16, 1 M 16-26, 3 F 0-10, 1 F 10-16, 1 F 26-45
[James 7, Wright 10, John 13, Daniel 16, Susanna 3, Dicy 4, Elizabeth 6, x, Susannah 35-45]
